Neal E. Thornberry, Ph.D

In addition to being the Founder and CEO of imstrat, he also serves in a part time capacity as Faculty Director for Innovation Initiatives at the Naval Postgraduate School’s Center for Executive Education in Monterey CA. His duties at NPS include working with the Navy and Department of Defense to encourage a strong focus on innovation. Dr. Thornberry is also Professor Emeritus at Babson College in Wellesley, MA and has been a visiting lecturer at Duke University, The University of North Carolina, Northwestern, Ashridge Management College (UK), HEC (France), and Tsinghua University (China), and the Tuck School at Dartmouth.

As a result of his work in the field of innovation, he is often invited to be the key note speaker at many events and company sponsored meetings around the world including the Kimberly-Clark Global Marketing University, ATB Annual meeting, The United States Coastguard’s annual Innovation Exhibition, DHS (Department of Homeland Security), Solid Works, the IRI Summit, HCI, The Naval War College, and the Government of Thailand.

John J. Kilcullen

John is an award-winning entrepreneur and former group media executive in entertainment, digital media and global publishing at International Data Group and Nielsen Business Media. He is currently President of a new joint venture with Mark Burnett-Hearst Productions to create ancillary businesses and licensed properties around new scripted TV series.

He is also currently Executive Chairman of Fast Pencil and on the board of Copyright Clearance Center, Democrasoft and Vook. He is a former board member of Digital Music Group Inc. (IPO; sold to The Orchard) and a strategic advisor to (sold to NBCi for $225 million).

Stephen J. Paljieg

Stephen Paljieg is a Senior Director, Corporate Growth and Innovation, with the Kimberly‚ÄźClark Corporation. He is a 20+ year veteran of the consumer goods business and successful architect for new business growth. With a long history in both Marketing and Research and Development, Steve is a strong believer in 360 degree innovation… finding and creating new innovative sparks by combining capabilities, blurring the traditional interfaces of disciplines, etc.
